Since 1991, Mark has engaged exclusively in Plaintiff personal injury, Workers' Compensation, and insurance litigation. During this time, Mark has handled, arbitrated, mediated, litigated, tried to Bench / Jury verdict, and settled over 3,200 injury and worker’s compensation-related claims. Mark has handled dozens of multi-million dollar cases including setting a record for the largest non-death settlement in Boone county.

Due to his reputation and success in this field, he has been called upon to handle matters for Judges and their families, court personnel, insurance claims representatives, physicians, and numerous regional attorneys. Mark has been retained by other litigation attorneys to serve and testify as an expert witness in the field of Attorney Malpractice in reference to injury claims/litigation and malpractice disputes. Mark has resolved claims and litigation including numerous multiple million-dollar settlements and verdicts.

Mark grew up in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. During 1988-1989, Mark worked as a Law Clerk for the Internal Revenue Service in the Appeals Division with minimum tax deficiencies in excess of $1.0 million. From 1990 through the end of 1991, Mark worked as a Tax / Finance Attorney for Deloitte and for the General Assembly / Fiscal Analyses Department for the State of Maryland. Mark has additional work experience and internships in Banking, Insurance, Utility Regulation, and Accounting. Mark has handled numerous matters through State and Federal Circuit Courts, State, and Federal Appellate Courts, and all levels of the Illinois Industrial Commission for injured worker’s claims.

Mark has been married since 1985, has three children, and works and resides in Wheaton, Illinois.
